It seems to me that your gorgeous image proves that neither the tree nor the person is standing alone. Fabulous use of the negative space at the bottom!
Thanks Mike!
This shot had more crops than a Mid West American farmer before I commited myself so am glad to hear you say that.
Very pen and ink wash and lovely in its simplicity Sharon.

Thank you John...I really appreciate it!
Reminds me of a Van Gogh. Beautiful!!
Agree - beautiful. And it projects a great deal of mystery to me.
when i saw it i wondered if it was a photo of a picture. powerful.
Thank you Travis, Mark and Brian.
Brian..just a couple of textures and some PP I must admit to being rather pleased with the way the tree turned out.
Mark...the title has ben changed to 'The bare bones of it all'.
Lovely as usual!
Fabulous! Did you visualize this before you click the shutter or during PP?
I like the way everyone comes away with a different feeling. Nice work Sharon.
Never mind pictures. How do you get that d... Tapatalk App thingy to work. I downloaded it onto my Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet and managed to get in, but can't work out how you create a reply in a thread. Am sans PC for 48 hours (what'll I do tonight?) because USB ports have started behaving badly.

By the way, the pic looks wonderful.
Thanks Richard,Mark, Donald and Hui!
Hui...This one came alive during PP and I think I only glimpsed the stillness of it when I pressed the shutter..I knew I had something but not exactly what.
Donald..I can't help you there as I neither Tap talk nor tap dance..not since I fell in the sink!
Beautiful shot.
Thank you Donald and Bobo.
I admit to getting a wee tingle of 'this could be good' when I started on this one. A rare but very pleasant thing indeed.
Add me to the list of admirers Sharon
