I can say a lot of things about Photoshop CS6, most of them good, but, I cannot say that Photoshop CS6 is a simplistic program; either to use or in its capabilities.
I had been looking for a really simple and easy to use video editing program and have tried several. My ancient brain did not wrap around Sony Vegas Studio or even Premiere Elements.
However all this time I have had a really simple and very easy to use video editing program built into my Photoshop CS6! Granted, this is not the program I would choose if I were desiring to do a remake of "Ben Hur" but, for the short videos I need to make to post my rescue dogs on YouTube.com.
The editing capabilities of CS6 are quick and dirty and since I am already familiar with the basic Photoshop CS6; the program seems quite intuitive to me!
I can also use my Photoshop tools to improve the video clips and import titles directly from Photoshop...
Do a Google search using "video editing with Photoshop CS6" as your search parameters. I viewed a YouTube video which is only a little over nine minutes long but, which set me up for editing short clips with sound. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBxfcPXoOHQ
By the way, if any of you have had the nasty occurrence of YouTube stating that your music was copy written and could not be used in your videos, here is a link to a YouTube video which explains how to get a large variety of non copy written music available at no charge. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyK63tiYlGI
