A very enjoyable series. Consider partnering similarly with Mojo for years to come.
Thanks Mike, I am planning on keeping the little guy around. he is resting on a shelf in the bedroom now. I am going to wash him up and put him in my camera bag.
Mark,
Mojo really gets around. Nice concept.
Enjoyed these Mark. Nice idea and fun.
Thanks John, And John, I had a smile on my face the whole time
It was such a nice overcast day yesterday I couldn't waste some of the first nice diffracted light of the season. so I went on about a three mile walk on a route that I haven't been for over 20 years. I was hoping for some shots of the old concrete culverts and portals along the rail road tracks for monochrome conversion. But most were so grown over that didn't work out. So a bit of creativity was in order.

Great series, Mark. Very creative and a great use of shallow DOF. I'm glad to see you getting out and shooting! ~Sherri

Nice idea Mark - and well executed.
Perhaps we should all find something discarded to 'adopt' and photograph - perhaps this will be the first of many such threads?
If nothing else, it'll help tidy the world (a little)
Cheers,
Thanks Sherri, The clouds were perfect for a walk on the other side of the tracks. I think I saw your mom walking but I didn't see you.
Thanks Dave, It was fun to do. I would like to see other people adopt fun silly project like this.
I plan on continuing the adventures.
I think this type of thing would be great for beginners too. For one it is fun and you have a known object to photograph but in changing light and backgrounds etc.
Very interesting and creative. I like all of them. The 1st, 4th and 5th, especially.
Thanks Christina,
I really like "exhausted," "hooked" and "big wheel," mostly because Mojo's environment includes a circular shape that complements Mojo's shape. The one with the wheel reminds me of a roulette wheel. All of them in the last set are better because Mojo's texture is so pleasingly evident.
I don't suppose Mojo is ever going to find its way to the cup on a golf green, huh.
Thanks mike,
The last couple days have been overcast and darker than when I shot the first set that helped a lot.
"I don't suppose Mojo is ever going to find its way to the cup on a golf green, huh"......After a bit of thought the better shot may be of the greens keeper's face when I try to explain what I am doing.
My guess is that the greens keeper has already seen everything.
I hopeyou keep Majo, I had a smile on my face, and hope you show more of his future adventures.......
Greetings,
Griddi.......
