Re: Pre 1919 Vintage cars: the 3 R's Relics, Restored, Running.
Ken these are excellent. I really enjoyed looking through them. What a fantastic collection of old cars. Some of the drivers look like they could almost have been the original owners !
Looks like it would have been a chilly drive from Melbourne.
The first and the last images really stand out for me but they are all good in their own way.

Good series, Ken, I enjoyed looking through these -- in fact would have appreciated more. Funny how some people smile and seem to be right into the mood of it all, while others... must be cold.

Very good!
As a mad but largely unrequited car lover I feel jealous of those involved in the rally and even of the lookers on and photographers.

Ken, What's not great about someone doing what they enjoy capturing images of people doing what they enjoy.
Great images!

Re: Pre 1919 Vintage cars: the 3 R's Relics, Restored, Running.
Well I am really a bit embarrassed. So many lovely comments in response to my post. Thank you to all who have taken the time to view and respond. I am really chuffed that some seemed to enjoy seeing these old cars in action. Once again thanks to those who made such supportive and positive comments. "Warmed the cockles of an old man's heart," as they say. Hey, there's a point. Do our hearts have such things as "cockles?" Anyone ever seen a picture of a cardiac cockle? Maybe we should get on to Donald and get him to organize 'cockle' pictures as the the monthly competition subject? Just a thought.
Cheers
