Panoramic Prints

Anybody got any ideas where I can get some Panoramic shots developed?

I used to work on a PhotoMe DKS processor so I know that the machines can process a long image to a requested size but everywhere I goto they say they can't!!! I even offer to show them how its one on their machines.

So Anybody know of a online service for this??

Can't help with the printing...but some of the joins are visible, and there looks to be a dust spot in the sky at far right...sorry

Bertie, I certainly agree regarding the dust spot, which I'd have cloned out, and I'm sure you're right about the joins too, but I'm blowed if I can see them!

I haven't mustered the courage to try a 'panoramic' myself yet, but when I do, I'd be well pleased if I got it this good.

Sorry ferret; I can't help with the printing either, beyond this; ancient thread in another forum obtained by putting 'panoramic printing' into ggogle.

I suspect many of the links will be dead by now

I'm sure you're right about the joins too, but I'm blowed if I can see them!

There are at least two, and probably 3 oblique broadish 'lines' roughly in the centre of the pix; I thought that they were the sun's rays at first, but the shape isn't right, and one of them seems to extend into the land itself.

What software was used?

I used photomerge in Adobe Photoshop CS2

The original is 5 photographs but this one is only 3, you are right about the spec of dust on the lens and the next sunny day we get I am off to re do this image as I have had loads of people wanting a print of it.

I used photomerge in Adobe Photoshop CS2

The merge abilities in PS were considerably improved in CS3 - specially the blending of exposures. I always had problems with joins in CS2.

The dust spot is on the sensor, not the lens.
