    Congratulations Yan: A beautiful shot as always. Your ocean shots are all very special, but the lone figure in this one - well - it's a very emotional shot. Wish I was better with words, all I can say is that this shot had a great impact on me.

    Hello Roger: I love this shot, but have to agree with what others have said about the frame. It is just too much and in my eyes takes away from the shot.

    I think the dark log in the foreground would even fare beter with a simpler frame. Maybe something in the same tones as the log which might help make the log appear as a partial frame. Not really sure about that, I'd have to see it and play around, but for sure the frame is just too much.

    Otherwise great shot.

    Dear Wendy,

    Thanks for your kind words. This shot was sort of by luck. I had several shots similar to this one but without person and the wave trace was not like this look. The person just turned on and I happened to capture the scene together with the powerful wave trace.
