    Hi David,
Looks like a nice place for taking pictures.
I know you have decided to post 'as taken' but I think a small amount of PP would have just polished it off.
I think it would be nice if you straightened the horizon and cropped to move the horizon off centre a bit.
IMO I would have cropped a bit, lightened and then sharpened.

    Regards
    John

Thanks for the reply John. Must admit I thought the horizon was level, maybe I'm just use to seeing everything at a slant. I was weondering about cropping, usually fgorced on me due to wonky horizons, though this tiome I left it to balance the beach, also I was that pleased that it wasn't burned out as can be common with my images I left it. I do though agree it coulkd benefit fom beinb lightened, especially at the point the path reaches the beach.

Thanks again John for the feedback, very much appreciated

Your light coming in from the left is rather nice. The activity and all the emphasis is a bit 'bang centre' for me and yes it does need lightening and your horizon is squint.

I'd be tempted to whack the whole town bit off and go for a much tighter crop that concentrates on the path, beach and person but that is just me David.

Was it cold? I am back there soon.

    Hi Sharon,
Although breezy, the weather wasn't too bad there on Saturday, and at least it was dry.
Went back to the image and found out the horizon slanted, though not my usual Everest proportions. I also lightened it a little, though still wanted to maintain the cold wintery feel. Must admit once cropped I feel it loses something, one being the sense of location and two the darker of the fences which I feel leads the eye nicely into the image.
I do though agree with both yourself and John that the concentration on the centre may not be the best. I've therefore cropped it both left and right and would be interested in any feedback.

    Hi again David,
I personally like the 2nd revised picture.
How about this for another option, not better by any means, just different.
    Thanks for sharing.
