I was looking for some info on LR5 and thought I would stop by old favorite photography place. This photo is from my last photo shoot, what do you think?

Looks good to me. Obviously a tricky exposure with that white shirt amongst so many dark tones.

Lol shadowman, you may be right.
Just a simple one light setup - his mom's feedback was 'oh wow', so I'm pleased to have made her an image she loves.

I'd say "pretty good" Brian, probably as good as is possible for a 'one man show' and no second light to illuminate the rim of his hair.
Composition, tonal range, background all work for me.

As it is, I'm plenty busy making a few photos here and there.

I like the sharpness of this image, however I agree how stunning it will be if the you used a slower shutter speed to show the action of the mallets
