Sunset/Moon rise over Enchanted Rock
Hi, Folks. It's been a while since I've posted/participated. I would like to start getting involved again. So, to start things off here is one I took a few days ago. We had a chance to go out to Enchanted Rock state park and this is one of the sights that awaited us close to sunset. I saw this beautiful old tree and the way the setting light was illuminating it. The moon in the background was a plus. I couldn't resist and took the shot.
I like the image. What do you all think? Does it work?
Your responses are greatly appreciated.

Re: Sunset/Moon rise over Enchanted Rock
this is pre coffee and i was woke up by the neighbours teething child on one side and radio on the other but I actually find the moon distracting. On the other hand I love the foreground.

Re: Sunset/Moon rise over Enchanted Rock
Brian, thank you for your honest opinion. Heck, I find everything distracting and annoying pre-coffee.
I wish the moon would have been larger, but as the song says: I took what I could get. I'll play with the image (since cloning out the moon should be rather easy), and see if it still has the mood I feel it now has. It's worth trying out different things to see how they work out.
Thanks again for you response.
