I definitely like the B&W one better.

Very cool, Andy. Definitely prefer the first one, though

Quirky and deceptively simplistic looking. But as you replicated it, didn't you have to make a lot of technical decisions? I admire your ability to see what it takes to create this image. Good for you. One thing - the egg looks like it has a very very slight list to the right as you look at it? Or maybe my astigmatism is acting up?

    Hi Marie,
The egg has a slight list you are right. This took a little over 2 hours to fiddle around with so I suppose I was at a list myself! Trial & error got to where I was last night. Now I have just about got it I will try to have another shoot later this week. A very good arts department at school where I work helped with some of the props but the rest was just playing around with some kit to see what I could do. Good fun but a little frustrating though.

Hi Shane, thanks for your kind words. No the egg was not cooked but is was a bit miss shaped & the only one I had to use. Really i feel the image should have been done with a white egg.
    Regards
