    Thanks Johan. It has only been about the last 3-4 years that any digital camera in my price bracket has been able to produce the smooth warm vibrancy and tonal range that a very good side/positive film can produce. I think the sensor technology has now reached a point that it easily matches and in fact exceeds the performance of film. It is not really the good old days any more.

    Nandakumar I like your sombre greyish leaf - far more in keeping with "dead" Texture/pattern of leaf veins very good.
