    Cinestyle Profile Problem

    Hi there,

    I have a Canon 550d.

I am currently trying to download the 'cinestyle profile' from this website, http://www.technicolor.com/en/soluti...ices/cinestyle.

I have received the email with my download link but everytime I try to download this I get the message 'Windows cannot open this file.....To open this file, Windows needs to know what program you want to use to open it.....'

I have EOS Utility open but neither my laptop or my PC will open the file. For the life of me I cannot open a pf2 file and I know not why. Could you please help me?

    Thanks

    Hi there anonomous

The Technicolor Cinestyle profile is a picture profile file with the attribute .pf2. This file can only be "opened" or used once it is installed in a Canon Eos DSLR camera. Follow the installation instructions on the Technicolor website. Remember, the risk is all yours. I would tread very cautiously.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

I'm afraid that doesn't help as it still leaves me the problem of not being able to download the 'Technicolor Cinestyle Profile' onto my computer. I am unable to get past No 2 of the steps as my laptop and my computer both 'needs to know what program you want to use to open it.'
