    Keas are really smart

Series of images of a smart Kea (native parrot) at Mt Cook village. No he did not manage to get into the rubbish food bin as it kept closing too soon.

The keas are renowned in the mountains for chewing wiper rubbers, ski straps, window seals, aerial leads, etc and even lead flashing which does not do them any good

Great birds but very mischievous. However as nice as the scenery is I do not think it smart to live at Mt Cook Village. Visit yes, live no.

I think my sheep are smarter but then again I would.
