    Nearly Thanksgiving

That's right...turn to the side and look back at the camera...perfect...
I once asked this ole country boy how they cook wild turkey, he responded..."Ya cut off the head, dip in boiling water to get rid of the feathers, cook it at 350 for about 4 hours or so, grind it up and feed it to the dogs...then go buy a Butterball"

Good story, good image. I guess I'd want to lose my polarizer to get the iridescence, right?

Hey, I had to tone down the saturation somewhat cause it hurt my eyes.

Maybe there are some batteries in that turkey?

Yes, but they surely were not included at the time of purchase.

Was it Rowan or Martin that said "why I didn't know that"

I've heard of a battery hen but never a battery turkey. Nice image. When one of our UK TV chefs was being asked about the do's and don'ts of rearing a turkey for Christmas he said don't give it a name. Apparently kids get upset when they find out that it's Charley sat on a bed of roast potatoes and stuffing in the middle of the table.
