Re: Horse
Mariola - What's your own opinion of these?
I think it's always helpful if we are able to share some of our own analysis when we post our images. That then helps others compose their responses.

Re: Horse
Mariola, I agree with Donald's suggestion about doing some critical analysis of your own work. It has been very helpful to me and will allow you to think about and elicit opinions on how to solve perceived issues (or find out if we are being to hard on ourselves).
I will add a question or two of my own...do you shoot in RAW? What type of post processing do you do and with what program?
Now that that is out of the way, I will say that I really like the scene that you have captured in the first image and do think that portrait in the third image is nice as well (this one could use a little straightening of the horizon though). I think that both images could use a little curves and/or levels adjustment and some sharpening to make them really pop.

Re: Horse
So... where should I start?
Image 1:
- I would love to have a bit longer lens like canon 70-300mm to make it a bit closer capture but for now I have 18-135mm so I need to deal with it :P
Anyway I could try to crop it just a bit.
-I don't know much about post processing that's why I'm going on photoshop course but I need to wait until January.
I'm pretty sure that my pics could look much better if I will know more about post processing.
-I just changed a bit colours, contrast and shadow in fast stone program because it wasn't a really sunny day and images were to dark for me
Image 2:
- That one is nothing special but I like the horse. It was funny how he gets confused about the noise camera was making :P
Image 3:
-I really happy with that one. That's a wide angle (I know I shouldn't use wide angle with "portrait") so his head looks to big but actually I like that funny look. But I don't know how to straighten the horizon in CS2 which I have
Image 4:
- I kinda like that countryside view
Image 5:
-That's hilarious but I cut his ears he just won't stay steady
Image 6:
- I like that one the eye is sharp and the background nicely blurs. I just love that colour of his eye second one was brown.
