Nice pictures, Phil, and they tell a much more interesting story than most pictures of Dubai.
Having just made my second visit to my daughter, last week, we decided to have a roam around on the Metro and look at Diera.
As I only found CiC a few weeks ago - these are my first attempts at uploads. I hope you recognise where they are.
All with Canon 7D, 28-135mm. My next voyage of discovery is to find out how to create a portfolio.

I think I'll give the Tinypic a try. Somone has just told me that the thumbnails would go and the file size can be larger.

It works "OK" Brian, but you do lose control of the images. If they're images you want to be able to manage, then a photo hosting site like pbase.com is a better way to go. Even good old Facebook works well.

    Phil,

I like it when your subjects are either fully engaged in the portrait process or disengaged as happens when it's a candid shot. The last two seem fully engaged to me, which explains why I like them, but the first two seem only half engaged. I can't explain the exact characteristics that make me feel how I react to the four images; I can explain only that that's my reaction.

    Hi, Phil.

It is so funny that I associate your photograpy style as black and white, so when I look at these, they do not seem complete.

However, when I let go of my own mindset, these are great images nicely composed. Exposure and color looks spot-on.

    Marie
