Nik Viveza - a small hint

    Hi,

This may be blazingly obvious, but in case there another idiot like me out there..........

In Nik's Viveza, you start with all the sliders operating at a global level, and if you wish, make adjustments.

Then you create a Control Point, and using the same sliders make your adjustments to the Control Point. Add more Control Points, and so on.

Now you want to go back to global - but there is no global panel, which means that you have to deselect all control points in order for the sliders to operate at the global level again.

To do this you click somewhere on the image where there is no Control Point, and you go back to global.

Now the hint. This only works if you have the pointer cursor selected. If you happen to have the hand cursor (perhaps you were scrolling round a 100% image), you can still create Control Points, but you can click forever and not be able to deselect all of them and get back to global.

    Was driving me mad

Dave I like the Viveza plug-in for it's control point functionality but have to say that the method of toggling between Global and Selective is not exactly intuitive ! It had me stumped for a while. Surely a button in the control panel wouldn't have been too much trouble ?

    Thanks for the tip

I use it sometimes. What I do if the control point button is selected is to just click it on the image, press del to delete it and that takes me back to global.

I too like Nik but the inconsistencies between the modules is irritating. Why, for example, doesn't Viveza merit a history panel?

Thanks for the tip - I have the suite, but haven't gotten around to using it yet. Maybe it's time I did.
