Too early for Christmas ??
Have had a couple of days off and took the opportunity of the R&R to be creative. So bought flowers, arranged them and then photographed them. Sometimes it take ages to get the shot I like - today I did it in 6 shots, that must be a record. Having got the one, I decided to leave be. I'm going to make it into a Christmas card which was why I left some blank space for a greeting.
Hope you like it - C&C appreciated

Superbly done. That is a great image and will make a beautiful card.
Suggestion - Clone those two little bright spots over on the left hand edge.

Kaye, it's beautiful, delicate with soft colors. Wonderful. I'll also be waiting for my card.

Very nicely done, Kaye. I especially like how you positioned the rear flower petal to so nicely frame the flame. Nice color in the flame too!

Lovely image Kay - do share your final version with the words and I would be interested to see the finished card.
Do take a look at the transition of the glow from the flame to the background (particularly on the left side) - I 'm wondering if it could be softened just a bit?

Thank you all - I will take on board the cloning and editing ideas and let you see the finished article....and then you'll all get the card. It was one of those lucky days we all need sometimes.

Wow, to your technique. I do not think I am there yet. Lovely.
And by the way, my greeting can be addressed to NANCY.
