Sony lens
Hi,I am considering purchasing a sony 70-300 4.5-5.6 g lens,any opinions or experience with this lens would be most helpful,thanks in advance

A Sony lens will be a very good lens. I got a Sigma 70-300mm, it "creaps". Depending on what you would like to do with the lens. It is too short for wildlife and birds, unless your subject is pretty close to you. Personally I like using the 70-300 for close ups and "macro".
Middle of December I am going on a "photographic" tour, then I will see if the 70-300mm has more use for me except for the close ups.
My personal opinion is that an ideal combination of lenses would be a 10-24mm 24-70mm 70-200mm and an 80-400mm.
Will I recommend a 70-300mm ............mmmm....... if the budget allows rather go for 70-400mm.
