Blue/Gold Macaw - Coco

My inlaws have this beautiful Blue/Gold Macaw named Coco. He is an amazingly loving bird and loves to pose.

They are lovely looking birds and you are lucky to have one to model for you. Be nice to see a series of shots. Not sure that I would risk leaving any small bits of photographic gear or fingers anywhere near where Coco can playfully chew it.

A well captured shot. The only thing I would like done is the very out of focus branch ends down the right hand side would be best cloned out. Not a major problem but I found it just a little distracting.

I'll see what I can do to clone out the distracting stuff.

Also, next time I get to be with Coco, I'll see if I can take a series of photos with him. He is a very social bird. The inlaws also have a second Macaw and she is NOT friendly. I don't dare get my equipment anywhere near her.

We had a neighbor who was a musician and if he left his guitar out his cockatoo would make a beeline for it. If he was not quick enough it would usually cost him a few strings and damage to his eardrums from both the attack on his guitar and the bird shrieking with victorious delight.
