Aira Force near Ullswater

Have been away from the site for a very long time, been really busy and have not had chance to get out with my gear for sometime however, i have finally managed to get some free time when on a trip to the Lake District in the UK, here is an image from Aira Force, feel free to pick it to death lol

Hi Paul.

It's basically a good image. It appears too bright on my monitor and if you were to reduce the brightness of the highlights and darken the yellow colors you would have a better result. I downloaded your image, made those adjustments and believe the image is pleasing.

The colour looks a little over-saturated to me but that might have been what the scene actually looked like. Also I'd probably increase the contrast a bit. I think I probably have a similar re-action to Ken actually. Maybe a little more sharpening too.

That's a nice image Paul. The force is only a 40 minute drive for me but I never seem to get there. I understand the crits Ken and Dave have made but the image ha blacks and whites all present. I may be that all that is needed is to move the mid tones down stream a tad. Nice anyway though.
