    Windows 7 and Adobe's Cloud...

Just thought I'd give people the heads up on an annoying but simple glitch...

So, been using CS5 for a few years I finally decide to upgrade to the Cloud. On a bigger and better laptop. Wonderful for a few hours. And then the glitches start kicking in... Can't login... no internet... Blah blah...

I don't use Internet Explorer. It's poo. But if you use a Windows machine it sets all precedents. It's the one thing I haven't found a decent way of stripping out of the main system from Windows. And believe me, if you do strip it, it will work for years.

So, if you do have any problems with internet related content,

    Open the blasted thing, (IE)

Go to; Internet options - Advanced - Check for Server Certificate Revocation - and untick it.

This took me an hour and a half with Adobe chat staff last night which was extremely annoying. As I'm following their instructions, I'll go back to their chat window, which (this happened four times) said "We've not heard back from you in a while, so we consider this case closed" or words to that effect.

So, if I've helped anybody avoid this PITA I'm happy,

    Have a guess :)

That's an old trick we used to have to do when PCs with Norton Anti-Virus installed started running really s l o w l y.

I came across another one the other day - Bridge CC doesn't associate some files with it correctly when upgrading from a previous version. If you come across it, just drop me a PM - real easy registry fix for it (wen you know!).
