    Re-installing plug-ins... and failing...

So another glitch I'm encountering with PS CC,

I'm trying to re-install some Nik plug-ins and the dialogue box comes up and says it will, by default, stick 'em in Lightroom. I don't want them in LR. I want them in Photoshop.

So it gives me the option of adding another location. So I go to the usual place where I've normally installed them on the drive. Which is the "Plug-ins" folder in Program files/Adobe/Plugins.

So why does neither LR or PS recognize them?

    Am I being thick?

Problem solved. I have to re-download for compatability issues.

    *sighs*

On the positive side of a glitch, Nik says my Nik suite is not compatible with the Elements 12 software I just downloaded. I pressed the install button anyway and got everything reinstalled. The only thing that did not reinstall was HDR Efex Pro which somehow magically appeared after the Analog Efex upgrade and is also not supposed to be compatible with Elements altogether. I also like the way the Nik suite reinstalled without the need of the codes that Topaz still uses and drives me crazy.
