Not a lot of depth in this image, so not a lot of chance of throwing any distracting backgrounds out of focus and letting the subject pop. So I stopped down to f4 and shot away.

Hi Phil,

I am intrigued by the stack of other (prayer?) mats on the cabinet;
are they his?
does he sell them?
are they communal and he's just borrowed one to use? (possibly showing my ignorance here)

I might be tempted to title this "Prayer on the side", since he seems to be trying to keep out of people's way.

If it weren't Dubai, (where it never rains?), I might even think he could be sheltering by the wall there

I held a hand, from above my screen, over the centre window to see what the composition would look like without that so close to his head - it could be cloned out I guess, but that may be against your 'documentary' style.
