I wish I could say I planned this. It's at Mallory Square in Key West, and I like the feeling of the street performer and his performing housecat in their own little world, while everyone else watches the sunset.

Edit - BTW, the cat's tail isn't Photoshopped out: she really has no tail. Catman says she was born without one.

Very nice, Donald, and I certainly don't mind. This is kind of the original image that I was shooting for: the catman and his cat. When I looked at it, the people who were looking the other way drew attention away the main subjects. By cropping, it became something different: the catman and his cat, right there with the crowd, but isolated from it, like in a bubble.

This is great, gives the feel I originally wanted.

Awesome work: thanks for taking the trouble. This is the second time in a couple of days that people have shown me how to reinvent a shot by creating artificial DOF where it didn't exist: something fantastic to have in my toolbox!
