    Light Beyond, for C&C

From our first snow. Would appreciate some criticism. This is not a B&W conversion - there's a little natural sepia that I thought better left as is.

For me, Mark, the exposure and focus are fine but I wonder about composition. The edges are fine and with plenty of contrast; but that seems to leave the centre looking a little 'bland' and lacking a main subject.

I'm not really sure on this image; and I don't really have much in the way of simple alternative crops etc to suggest.

Possibly a little extra sharpness or LCE selectively applied to just the foreground?

I think cropping out the sky would direct the eye more to the path in addition to Geoff's suggestion.

    Thanks, all.
Geoff, you're right - the subject is the path and brighter area it leads to, but this fails to tell that story well enough. (and it is soft - there's a lot of falling snow that's inapparent). Terri, thanks, I think you are right, it does work better without the sky at top and for screen it needed about a quarter more EV, and I tried a little selective sharpen and contrast in foreground Geoff. It still isn't that successful but the suggestions valuable to me. Thank you:
    Thanks, all.

Yes, that is definitely a stronger image all round.
