Christmas Gingerbread Display

Mele Kalikimaka from Honolulu! On Friday I went out and shot a Christmas gingerbread display in Waikiki and it definitely put me in the holiday spirit.

The lighting was challenging to say the least and I am still working on my NIK workflow so any and all suggestions in that regard would be more than welcome (without getting into details for each image I will say that I think that some of them may be a tad dark).

Nothing looks dark too me. To say that the lighting was a challenge is an understatement. Even so, your photos prove that you were (are) up to the task.

When you send me a Christmas card , please make it #4. I like the idea of snow in Honolulu.

Mike, I too would love to see some snow in Honolulu! Sunny and 85 degrees every day gets a little tiresome

The shots were particularly hard to frame and process as there is so much going on in them.
