    It's always a good day when I can learn something interesting and new. Thank you for introducing me to the meaning of Pupil Dilation. Hopefully I'll be able to incorporate what I have learned in my photography!

    OK, I've had a chance to play with this image again and I think it is getting closer but I'm still not completely happy with the results.

    Getting the pupils of the eyes to look right is tougher than I thought it would be. Below is my third attempt since my last posting of this fellow and hopeful he looks a lot more natural now. At lest he's lost the 'hungry' look and is back to being sleepy! I guess, for him, that's a good thing?

    Hungary Lion?

    Any better? Any other suggestions or comments/critiques are certainly welcomed.

    I admire your persistence! This latest version is far better for me. You might try desaturating the eyes a bit, but that suggestion is just a gut reaction with no real understanding being used as a basis for thinking that.
