As an FYI thing...when I PP my white birds I put a color checker eyedropper on the lightest area and try to keep it under 240 RGB colors.

Yes, thanks Chauncey but I am a pig at pp - can you elaborate somewhat on the colour checker eyedropper and how you use that to limit highlights to 240?
I do remember a bit more about that tut (not the subject) at it mentioned 250 not 240.
