    Thanks for posting these interesting birds Bobo, I like 2 better also. I was glad to receive a little of Colins teachings in an area that has perplexed me.

    Thanks Colin. Flash idea is nice but not with the current combo which is heavy enough as it is.

    I did not know about the relationship between monitors/cameras etc. Thanks for that.

    No worries. If you're going to shoot back-lit then "something has to give" unfortunately - especially if they're dark subjects.

    Flashes also introduce their own set of issues to be managed (eg hard light / harsh shadows). It's something I think would be of benefit to you though (and yep, I know all about the weight!)

    Thanks Ramachandran, there are lots in the market so he need not fear competition. But he did not know that.

    But just to rub it in, he took off a sec or 2 later landed about 10 feet away and swallowed it right there.

    and with your 1D X you got around 100 frames of the whole flight?
