Reddish Egret...

This by far is one of my favorite birds to photograph. When feeding it is so animated running around the shallow water flats wings flapping or held outstretched to create a shadow on the water, causing small fish to flee and move. Then plunging it's head into the water to grasp the fish with it's bill. I think these images depict that behavior. C&C welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

These are stunning - I think they work very well as a series too, as we see the staggered movement of the bird.

Beautiful, Joe, again. It strikes me you must have an enormous library now of these simply outstanding bird images. I have to say I'm curious as to how you curate your magnificent collection. I imagine an airplane hangar full of these from floor to roof!
