    Nature's Grillwork

Any suggestions for this? I'm thinking it could be better than it is.

    Nature's Grillwork

Perhaps I need to play a bit more with the color and tones of the individual pebbles?

I see, the image is trying to say something;different viewers may hear it differently; but something will be heard; adding some color contrast may help to improve, i feel

It is neat. To me it's about the idea of an outlier - an exceptional one. So I might try to be very subtle with radial filter or brush or something to slightly bring up the brightness/contrast around the special one and drop the "crowd" back a little.

Thanks, Nandakumar, John and Mark. I took it back to square one and have been trying a few different things. I get your vision, Mark; the outlier is more or less on the third, and so it makes sense to further emphasize it. Unfortunately, I really am not liking the colour of that one as is, so I am going to have to play with it some more...

And maybe revisit that particular rock for more and better shots...

Hi Janis, I think you are on to something here. I'm not sure how to proceed but I did see the painting (or photograph) below on display in a public area and I thought it was interesting and unusual. I'm not sure if the rocks are real but the colors and patterns they form caught my attention. Perhaps it can give you some ideas?
