How adorable. How did you make that?
Merry Christmas to all,
Nancy
Hi Nancy, the original idea came from another CiC poster in The Art Of Doing Nothing, and the basis for her effort was the following tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKbUM5NLJ_g
Thanks Donald. Has it really been that long?
This is just great - thank you for sharing the idea![]()
Very nice...and thanks for the links to the tutorial...
Great idea Frank,thanks for sharing.
I certainly remember this beautiful image Frank.
In fact, every year since it was posted I do a few of these. They are always very well received.
VERY new with PSE 11. Am watching the YouTube with my IPad, and have opened laptop to work with PSE 11. Right off, the 'automation' (1 st step) isn't highlighted, so I cannot start this project.
Anyone?
Am so un-techie, geez.
Nancy
Hi Nancy, it's been a while since I did the one based on the video but you don't really need to use Automate of it is not available in your software. What I do is to make each of my images the same size and it is a lot easier if they are a 1:1 ratio (square). Then I open them all up in Photoshop as Layers using Bridge.
If I remember correctly, Layers can be done in PSE but it might require an add-on.
Once I have the images loaded, and I do usually use 25 images as they do in the video, I set the Canvas Size to be exactly 5 times the size of my photos. Then it is easy to reposition the photos so that they form a 5x5 matrix. As he says, the first time you do this it can be a bit time consuming without Automation, but it's not a show stopper.
I hope this helps!![]()
Thank you Frank. Will give it a whirl.
I am at the library trying this, maybe I should just grab some 17 yr old or these days a 10 yr old to help me ;}

LOL! I'm sure that even my 4 year old granddaughter knows more about computers than I do. She has her own iPad and really knows how to use it! I'm not even sure yet why I would want one!
