All images are gorgeous; IMHO, the white border is not in tune with colors of the content

The border would be acceptable for a print but for viewing on a monitor definitely not. Your manipulation didn't work for #2 and #3 is borderline .... Sorry

You critique, but do not explain? Why is a border "not acceptable for viewing on a monitor"? What leads you to say that the manipulation does not work"?
