This looks interesting. I wish that they had another narrator for the tutorials...

    Hi guys,

This is Rafael (the Bard) from the PhotoPills team. I am glad you find PhotoPills interesting. It's a little project-hobby I am developing from the island of Menorca (Spain) with two friends more: Germán (the Developer) and Joan (the Designer).

I am also the narrator of the Tutorials. I apologize for my wierd accent. It's something that we need to improve, you're right!

    Thank you for your feedback!

I'd be curious if anyone has information on how it compares to The Photographer's Ephemeris. I use TPE frequently. One has to view the tutorials, which I would expect of Photopills too, too see the range of its capabilities.

I have nothing in my house or on my computer that an Apple Logo attached to it. That attitude results from a multitude of complaints regarding billing difficulties from years past. I abhor anything Apple!

Uh-oh. I don't think I want to step into this. However, if the issue is PhotoPills and TPE, you can use TPE without anything with an apple logo. I run it on a PC as well as an iPhone and an iPad. (the iPad interface is superb.) I think it also runs under Android.

It does look interesting and as I have a house full of Apple logo's I may well give it a go.
£6.99 is a fair bit to spend on an app that has yet to be reviewed so I might bookmark it and check back.

    Thank you!

It takes a bit of practice to master PhotoPills. I strongly recommend you to watch our 11 video-tutorials here: TUTORIALS.

PhotoPills can be a bit overwhelming at the beginning

Thanks for the suggestion. I bought the app and played with it a little bit. It is quite powerful. I like the fact that it pulls together in one app information that otherwise would be scattered among several--e.g., sunset times, DOF, and FOV. I'll go through the tutorials to learn more.

    Hi there!

I am happy to tell you that we've just changed the voice over our video tutorials. Now you can listen to a Native voice.

Looks great. I'm using TPE and want to go try PhotoPills. Have it as a universal app? I'm reluctant to use such fine detail on an iPhone 5 screen, only, particularly for Planning. Also, bring iCloud sync support to talk settings and set-ups across devices.

    Hi Stuke,

We're working on the iPad version. It should be finished by the end of this year. Of course, it'll be a free update

Sync? We're planning on using a better sync system. We need this feature too.

    Cheers,
