    Window Shopping

    Window Shopping

Spotted these two beautifully dressed Indian ladies while shopping yesterday and thought that their clothes would make for a good sense of movement in one of my 'Smudged Soul' shots. I normally like a quiet background for this type of shot but on this occassion I think the busy background seems to add something to it...the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping in town.

    All C&C welcome.

Hoping this one loads first time!

It will start to sound fishy if every time I post on your latest image, that it has become my favourite of yours, Sharon...

It takes a moment to find the subjects. Normally, I would call that a weakness. Here, it piques my curiosity. Well done.

Lex..I guess I think we are all figures..moving into or away from the light..in our day to day.

I do not mean any kind of biblical light...

    Re: Window Shopping

In terms of it being social commentary, as I sit here in my office looking out the window at the cars queuing for goodness-knows-how-long to get into the parking areas/lots in the city centre here in Dundee, I am grateful that I do not overly buy-in to this whole Christmas shopping thing. Madness!

As a piece of art for art's sake, I do think this is a superbly well crafted image.

    Thank you Donald.

    You are not alone.

This will actually be the first christmas of our married life that himself won't be working 24th/25th and that we won't have family to cook for or entertain.( hospital visit notwithstanding!) We are not religious so it has no significance there and we gave up giving each other gifts some years back when we finally admitted to ourselves that swapping envelopes with identical sums of money in was really rather silly. Himself has the audacity to have a Birthday on the 28th which we will celebrate and there will be festive cooking and sipping purely because we like to eat and drink. The pine tree is where it looks best, in the garden where it has grown and it will be adorned with it's regular visitors of robins and bluetits.

Best of all...come January we won't find ourselves in debt.

That all sounds pretty jolly to me.

I think the full title: Tis Himself. Funny I thought it was just an Irish expression. Oh and by the way D.M. one more note in your aria, one more insight to your psyche.
I really don't know how you see how you see but it never ceases to.....
