Again, nice shots, and like the Cicada; what I would say is very good exposure, nice and bright, but nothing quite burnt out.

I guess Charlie wins my popularity stakes for his rarity value. I was going to suggest the blue hose would have made a better chromatic contrast with Charlie himself, but it then occurred that the red maybe what drew him out.

Have you just had an eventful 'wildlife' week or are you raiding the vaults for so many variations? (As I did recently)

I just lucked on some of those..but then again, where I live, we get those around easily.
note that all pics are run through Dxo which really helps brings things out.
