Because this photo was taken by one of the best photographers of the city of My son and I (Catalina) I want to know all the secrets about it, composition, light,why is a good portrait etc.

I am very interestedin learning about portraits.

Your kidness in explaining this will be greatly appreciated.

I also know that now is posible to correct the problema with my tooth, could anyone of you do this for me?
I will appreciate it a lot.

The smile is no good, is there a form to correct it?

This photo was taken by Carlos Tobon one of the best photographers in the city,is there some points to signal that this is an outstanding photography?

Will please someone answer my question, because it would be ideal to know more about the possibilities of photo shop. I consider this photo one of the best that are taken in my whole life, except for the smile.

Hi Catalina,

I'm really not sure how to put this - and perhaps it's just because it's different to my style of portraiture - but to be brutally honest, I really can't see many "points to signal" in the photo that I would encourage someone to try and emulate. I'm sure that the focus, colour, and exposure of the original are just fine, but to my eye, quite a few things bother me about the overall shot;

- The colour of your jacket draws the eye away from your faces - and then your son's arm draws my eye away even more.

- The overall composition has the eyes too high in the frame, and

- The angle that your eyes meet also seems awkward.

My apologies - I hope none of this offends; if you like the shot (and obviously you like it a lot) then that's all that matters -- it's just not one I'd choose to emulate personally.

You are right in each and every point.
I was blind now you open my eyes to a new word in photography.

I am not posting my own new photos because I don't have them because have to beg to my husband to buy a new memory card for the camera.
I am also begging for new classes of photography, to start next year.
How do you beg in a kind manner that a person pose for you? I have this problem.
I am not offended at all, but if you think this is a picture that shouldn't be emulated, imagine the one's I consider bad. I am truly a beginner. But I love photography and as we say in Spanish I am going to "insistir, persistir y resistir"( insist, persist and resist)
It is with criticism that I learn and I appreciate it very much.

I tried to find a good background in the garden of my house, but those walls don't satisfy me.
I also tried to find it inside the house, but the wall that don't are made of glass is full with paintings
Is it the first class, isn´t it. I am trying.
