That would mean a different size ratio though. But on the plus side it would remove some of the out of focus background.

And for me, somewhere mid way between those lighter/darker examples.

The lighter version makes a more touching image - as it clashes less with the background and black in the dark version is blown too much.

The tail is only important to the animal itself .....


edit ... an afterthought ... the greenery needs to be toned down on the left perhaps to match that above it ... as is .. it is attracting too much attention
