The green glass shown below seems to be in the style of an Alsatian wine glass (even though there are no Giant Saguaro cacti in Alsace).
The second glass is a margarita glass made of cheap plastic. If you look closely you can see the seam of the mold on both sides of the base. I have been looking forward to photographing the margarita glass for a long time because it reminds me of the glass that is displayed on pages 179 and 180 of Light: Science and Magic (fourth edition) and because I wanted to know if the fundamental photographic properties of plastic are the same as glass. They seem to be at least based on this one piece.
