The Slippery Slope
I ran into some web problems and needed to move to Opera and Raw/therapee. I seem to be picking up noise in the background... any suggestions?

Re: The Slippery Slope
Brian, I use a noise reduction filter with Photoshop. I did not see anything special for Gimp 2.8 and I have no idea what PhotoScape offers.

Re: The Slippery Slope
Certainly an interesting looking spider.
I would be more concerned about those few over bright spots in the background than any noise. But what I do is to run over any background noise problem areas with a light Blur Brush.
ps. I use Opera, which is the only system which makes any sense to me.
