A nightmare of one who hired a photographer

Some kilograms in excess, some more years, a bad work by the beautician, a horrible photography and post processing can give you the result that you just look like a witch.

A nightmare of one who hired a photographer

    compare to this:

A nightmare of one who hired a photographer

With luck, because it is not plastic surgery.

Okay Catalina....am just going to go right out on a limb here and say this.

You have posted a lot of images in the past few days.as far as I can see they were taken by another photographer ( the famous person)

It seems we are not impressed by his work..however he isn't aware his shots have been posted here..nor that they are being subject to critique. This makes me very uncomfortable...especially now that he has been named.

I understand that you wish to learn from 'what you have been told' is good photography but the best thing you can do is to develop your own style by practising and working at light and settings as we all have done.

You do not wish to replicate someone elses work...good or bad

I am intending to post some of my work.

I had a little problem with the Nikon d 40 but I expect to solve this.

You are right the name of another photographer should not be published. This is my mistake and Thanks to point it out.

Keep in mind too that both styles and technology change rapidly with photography; things that may have been great in their time may be looked upon in a different light in more modern times.

Not to mention that publishing photo's taken by another photographer is putting yourself at risk if ever the person who took the pictures becomes aware of these threads.
    I see easily two problems:
    - copyright violations (unless you have written permission to copy and publish these pictures), and
    - slander: the photographer here is getting very negative critique (against which he cannot defend himself for now).
The slander part is getting worse when taking into account that Catalina insists on mentioning that the photographer is very famous, and that at least part of the photos published seem to be scanned or otherwise copied from prints (and we don't know if that copying is done correctly and from properly stored prints).

And if the photos published are from the same photographer, but different sessions, why did she go back?
