That is brilliant, Dan. Congratulations and compliments on putting that together.
You have the pace of the music and the transition of the images beautifully synchronised.

Hi Dan,well done in putting this together, you have some cracking images there,my only complaint would be that although the music and image transition go together its a tad fast for me so i had to keep pausing to enjoy your great images.

Very entertaining Dan. The transitions were perfect and the pace snappy in time to the music.
That looks like the HMS Endeavour replica ship that James Cook sailed downunder. I visited it about 15 years ago when it was in Greenwich, London.

Re: Impressions of New South Wales
Thanks for the comments, folks. It took me a while to decide on the right tune and then a bit of time to synch everything. Sorry if he pace was too fast but I'd already posted many of the images in the forums here so didn't want to bore anyone. Plus the translation by the movie maker program seemed to soften the images no matter what I did. So many of them don't hold up well under close inspection...
That is indeed the replica of the Resolution. Interestingly the history of Capt. Cook is a common link between Australia and Alaska. Cook's mission was to find the elusive northern route between England and the East Indies. He spent the northern summers exploring the coast of Alaska and the winters down under reprovisioning and exploring those parts. He was transiting between when he was killed in Hawaii. From my house I look down upon Cook Inlet and Turnagain Arm. The former named for the captain and the latter named by him when they had to "turn again" after exploring yet another false passage.

Very nice, Dan...You just gave me an idea. I am from Victoria (Melbourne) so if I have the time when I visit this coming February I might put one together. Thanks for sharing...
