    Great shot Brian. Out of curiosity I loaded rawtherapee up in rawtherapee and used auto levels and then backed off lightness to match the gimped shot and then added a very slight saturation increase.

    which goes to show that there are many paths up most mountains. I did a side by side on my monitor and they are real close. I am getting the feeling that mastery is a ling way off. But it is such an interesting journey!
