Catalina you asked the question "HOW DO YOU LIKE THE LIGHT of this photo?" well you tell me what you think about it, but take your time, "I like it" is not the answer I am looking for.
Cheers: Allan
I think that the face is a little bit overexposed, and I have to tell this:I waited until the light was soft in order to soften her lines of expression. I didn't want to have to use a flash, because my lack of expertise
Now tell me your point of view, Allan with a more educatedi possibility of analyzing the photo.
Catalina - when photographers ask about light, they generally look at three distinct properties:
1. Intensity of the light; i.e. how bright or subdued the light is;
2. The direction of the light; where is the light coming from (above, from the front, from behind the subject, etc.); and
3. The quality of the light; hard, soft, diffuse, colour temperature, etc.
Each of these factors impact the image you create. Generally, in portraiture we don't want frontal light, as there are no intersting shadows. A light that is too intense will create harsh shadows, while a light that is very diffuse will not create any at all. A warm toned light will tend to make an image look more appealing than a cold toned light.
Think about these factors and how they will impact the look of your image.
1.The intensity of the light is a little bit too much.
2. is the nature's light at 5 pm
3. The light was soft ,diffuse,
But the face was enhanced and appears a little bit to white
