NSFW - Hanging out on the phone
Not Suitable For Work, or juniors - graffiti warning
I took a walk this morning with a different lens on my D700 to get out of my comfort zone a bit. I'm normally up close and personal with a 35mm, and occasionally a little more distant with an 85mm, but this time (and for a first) I took my 70-300mm.
Not many shots were at the long end as I find it a bit too uncomfortable and voyeuristic to shoot people at such a distance. A lot of street photogs do this, but I don't feel right doing it. Most of my shots were in the 70-140mm range, and I shot at f8 so that I was shooting a consistent aperture (the 70-300mm is variable aperture) and stopped down a little from wide open (f5.6 at 300mm)
So here's a first shot at 100mm. I saw this graffiti on the wall last week but turned the corner and found a guy on the phone leaning against the wall in a good spot.

I don't understand the language to camera left Phil - perhaps you could provide a translation?

Looks like there have been a few coats of paint applied to that wall. I can see how the colors captured your attention.
So is television making English the universal language for profanity?
