    Very nice. I'm sure you shot this in color and processed to eliminate the distracting elements on the ground.

    Dear Phil,

    I like the juxtaposition of still and moving objects. What ever was your shutter speed it was perfect. And would you mind sharing your aperture as well? I struggle with deciding on what to use to attain adequate DoF. Your image seems sharp through and through.

    Thanks guys - this was shot at 1/320th and f8.

    I chose f8 as the lens is a 70-300 variable aperture and I didn't want my aperture changing based on focal length. f8 is stopped down from the fastest the lens can handle and in the sweet spot for IQ. Also, even at f8 I can get some pop at longer focal lengths.

    As for the processing, reflective light is always a challenge in this area of town Therefore I processed using my usual workflow, but burnt the bottom of the image to darken it and bring out the reflection while keeping the viewer's eyedrawn more towards the subject
