Interesting critter... Nice sharp focus on the head. I think the image is a just a little bit dark.
Nandakumar the head is there, as seen by it's eyes on top.

A strange alignment of legs, with the front pair facing forwards. But, as Christina said, once you locate its eyes everything else falls into place.
Another shot which has worked well.

First and foremost what is it?
Good focusing with the main part of the insect in focus and it's legs and antennas (is that what you call them out the front of it's head) out of focus.
