    Nudibranch

Here is an image I took the other day of a commonly found Nudibranch at one of my local sites - was happy with the way it turned out.

Taken with the Olympus OMD EM-5 and the 12 - 50 mm lens locked in macro (43 mm) and twin Sea & Sea YS 110A strobes which had snoots fitted to them.

Beautiful capture Karl - it almost gets me in the mood to pull out the dive gear and get back into the water. Unfortunately, the undersea life is not nearly that colourful up here in the Great White North....

That is simply excellent photography. And an interesting creature. Making a quality image like this is hard enough under controlled conditions. I can't even imagine adding the complexities of doing so under water. Nice job.

    Re: Nudibranch

Thanks all for your comments - as stated I was happy with the result considering the conditions were less than ideal with the visibility (clarity of the water) at only 4m (or less ) and lots of silty bits and crud floating around.
