There are a few great images there but a number are rather ordinary. One always wonders that the editors were thinking on some of the selections.
Some, such as the young man at the memorial for the Chicago shooting victim or the woman at the soldiers grave, appear posed by the subject. If I were grieving and saw a photographer pointing their camera at me, I would either move away or ask them to stop photographing. Editors seem to love capturing these grieving moments.
